Today's long and short route rides to Country Waffles on Sunrise Blvd in Citrus Heights, are both cancelled due to the forecast of rain.

I'm checking in with Pam Abbott to see what she thinks about the short ride.

I'll be sweeping the long route:

(Note that the route's name has been changed slightly since Tuesday morning, and a couple of glitches in it were fixed, but there are no serious differences from the originally posted route).

And Pam Abbott will be sweeping the short route:

On the long route, most of the original Winding Way stretch is utilized because the bridge is fairly close to Winding Way's junction with Fair Oaks Blvd; and the detour adds just one extra mile via scenic Chicago Ave., Sunset Ave., and back to Fair Oaks Blvd.

There's a chance of rain though, so keep your fingers crossed!
