Membership Information

Membership in the Sacramento Bike Hikers has many advantages for cyclists.

• We have over 400 organized rides each year and on some days there are multiple ride options and start locations to choose from.
• Our rides are social group rides and generally include a coffee/refreshment or food stop.
• Members also receive discounts at many of our local bike shops.
• We also have many club social activities, including the Annual Awards Banquet, Summer Picnic, Soup Ride, Turkey Ride and the Holiday Party.
• We hold monthly meetings where we usually have a cycling-related speaker.

Non-members are always welcome to join us on our rides and/or attend our Club Meetings; it's a great way to learn about the club and its members.

Types of Memberships

There are two types of paid Bike Hiker memberships: individual and family. An Individual membership is $20 per year and a family membership (2 adults and children under 18) is $30 per year. Memberships are for one year and renew on the 12-month anniversary of joining.

Members who have been with the club for 25 years are eligible for a Lifetime Membership, which is at no cost. Lifetime Members must renew their membership each year online. They will acknowledge the Club's Safety and Liability Waivers, but pay no fee.

Cycling organizations are also welcome to join the club. E-mail the club Membership Secretary at membership@bikehikers.com if you are a cycling-related organization that would like to become a member of the Bike Hikers. 

Club Membership

To become an individual or family member, go to following sign-up link, complete the on-line application and pay the appropriate membership fee. You will receive an e-mail confirmation and instructions on how to log on as an activate members and access member areas of the website. To become a member, Click Here

Current members may log on to the website and use a credit card or PayPal to renew their membership. Members will receive e-mail notification when their membership is up for renewal.
