Jelly Belly Visitor Center
Don the ugliest Christmas sweater or jersey you can find and enjoy a festive spin from Jelly Belly‘s Visitor Center, through the scenic and gently rolling hills of the Suisun Valley. We‘ll check out the metal sculptures at the Glashof Sculpture Ranch, stop for coffee at La Barista, and after the ride, enjoy a friends and family discount at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center and Cafe. Prizes will be awarded for the ugliest sweater/jersey - for the men and the ladies!

Folsom Village Shopping Center
Both rides go up Green Valley to Malcolm-Dixon and then Deer Valley. Short ride turns at Starbuck Rd to get over to Cameron Park for a rest stop at Team Cycle Cafe. Long route continues to climb up to Rescue and Shingle Springs via Ponderosa Rd. returning to the Team Cycle Cafe in Cameron Park via Durock Rd and the gated community of Cameron Estates. Both return routes are the same climbing Hollow Oak Dr. to El Dorado Hills and then another small climb on Brittany Way. The short and long routes have about 2,800 and 3,700 ft climbing total, respectively.

The ride is C-46 with 1700+ feet of climbing so be ready for some hills and an intermediate pace. There is no short option so riders are expected to ride the posted route this time around!

Meet at Gold River Town Center just west of Starbucks by the Outback Steakhouse. We will ride 20 miles at a pace of 12-14 mph to William Pond. There is no route sheet. The idea behind the ride is for newcomers and/or others who wish to go slower and not so far. Optional lunch at Rubio‘s after ride. Grade: D/E20

Breakfast Ride. 20+ miles Mostly flat. Bike trails and city streets. Downtown. W Sac. Ride past sites of interest or newly constructed. Rides are swept.
This ride includes two parts - a swept 22+ mile course that includes hilly Folsom trails and roads, and a non-swept optional 6 mile circle from La Bou to the fish hatchery. Riders are invited to start the 6 mile loop at 9:00 am, or after completion of the 22 mile loop. The sign in sheet will be available at the ride leaders car, but the ride leader may not return from riding the fish hatchery loop until 9:45 am. The ride leader will start the 22+ mile loop at 10:00 am sharp. We almost always stay for lunch at La Bou‘s after the ride, so bring your appetite! Total climb is 1,300 feet. Alrighty then, you say you would rather make a right turn than a left. Well you just might enjoy this ride then because it has zero left turns. We will ride around Folsom then out to Granite Bay and back making only right turns. Elevation gain of about 2,000‘ on the longer route and about 1,600‘ on the shorter. Grade: D+41/D31
This is the Classic Tuesday ride with an additional segment from William Pond to Steamer‘s (Old Sac). If you‘re feeling the end of year mileage crunch or too many Holiday treats have impaired your "climbing legs", this ride is the perfect solution. The ride is E50 and all trail other than Gold Country Blvd. See you there!

We‘ll be riding through the neighborhoods of our local "Sierras" - Sierra Oaks Dr, Sierra Blvd and La Sierra Dr on the lookout for signs of Christmas before stopping at Panera‘s for something warm. The short ride will return to Five Points and the longer ride will continue toward Mather and the Gold River area before heading back to Five Points E22/D42 Routes are below and on the web site under my name

This ride will have in route nutrition stops along the bike trail. So you need to bring all of the food and water you will need for the ride. We will ride as a group, but you are welcome to join or drop out at any point to better fit your schedule. Just let the ride leader know. He will be carrying the ride sheet with him.

You need to be at this meeting so you can plan your bike 2020 bike tours! 1. After the general meeting, tour leaders talk about what they have planned for the year. 2. Before the meeting starting about 6:15 p.m. Voler will have a jersey sample try-on session to help you with your orders for club jerseys when the online store opens January 15. 3. Also, starting about 6:15 p.m., the California Bike License Plate representative will help you order your license plate. If you want a vanity plate, please have what you want ready (up to six digits) so you can order it that night!

Daylight Savings Time Begins
The 28th Annual Sacramento Bike Hiker Party Pardee ride out of Ione, Ca. This is the premier cycling event in Northern California. Registration will open January 1, 2020 and is limited to the first 1,500 riders.
Come have breakfast hosted by Bob and Janet Kendall at their house in Granite Bay (near Beals Point)
Come volunteer at the bike grab and park.
