Fall Foliage in Apple Hill (GK)
About this event
Updated 11/13/2019: Come and admire nature’s brilliant fall colors while riding though the beautiful and picturesque Apple Hill. We will also ride on the new El Dorado bike trail that will take us through Placerville on the way to Apple Hill. Rest stop is at Rainbow Orchards where you can enjoy an apple pie with your coffee.
The ride starts at the Walmart Parking lot on Missouri Flat road. Missouri Flat road is only 25 miles from the Sunrise Blvd exit. Take the first turn to the right after you enter the Walmart parking lot and drive past the storage containers.
Please be aware that many rural roads have minimum or no shoulder.
This is a C29 ride with 2,550 ft. of climbing.
