Let us celebrate Memorial Day in our best Red, White and Blue jerseys and repeat The Corona Cycling Club AKA Eagles Nest to Eagles Nest Ride. This adventure takes some quiet country roads to Sloughhouse via Eagles Nest Road with a photo stop at Mather Airmen’s Monument. Then we head north on the canal path to Fair Oaks to check on the our symbolic eagles nest, before heading up Folsom Overcrossing, Johnny Cash Trail and/or parts of Folsom. This route does have approx.. one-half mile of packed dirt road.

This ride expected totals are: 60-66 miles and approx. 2,000 ft climbing (per Strava).

As with most CCC rides, there are no cue sheets and rides are not swept, however we do re-group as necessary. If one rider stops we all stop. There’s one rest stop midway for coffee and snacks, TBD. Route is determined by ride leader (whoever is in front) and pace is generally 18 – 21 mph on flats with an overall average of 15 – 17 mph.
