I know Day of the Dead isn't until this weekend, but this ride uses the Miner's Ravine bike trail and it's too busy on the weekends to ride it then. So we're doing this cemeteries ride on Halloween which is also appropriate for that holiday. I will be wearing a sugar skull jersey, not a Halloween one, but you're welcome to wear either a Halloween or sugar skull jersey, whichever appeals to you more.
It was pointed out to me that Newcastle Produce is no longer open, but North Fork Chai is another option which is over behind Denny's on the other side of the freeway. Of course, Denny's is an option if you're more into breakfast. A third option would be to follow the long route until Penryn and then take Taylor or Rippey back to Loomis for coffee at Pause Coffee. I'm fine with that, but you'll miss one cemetery doing that and cut off some miles. If you plan to do that, just let me know at the ride start just in case something goes wrong. I will be sweeping the short route.
Here are the RWGPS links for these routes. Note the long route still has Newcastle Produce as the rest stop.
