The opening of the new bike/pedestrian bridge over the American River next to Business 80 has been delayed again, so I have rescheduled my ride from Glenn Hall to West Sacramento from Sept. 21 to Oct. 23 since it uses that bridge. I also didn’t want to schedule my ride on a Monday since one of the coffee stops isn’t open on Mondays. I’m assuming Larry Robinson will schedule a ride to the opening ceremony on Oct. 7, so I didn’t want to schedule my ride too close to that date. Hopefully they don’t delay the opening again. 🤞
