17th Annual Turkey Ride - D- 32 from Gold River (JK), E19 from 5 pts (BN)

About this event
We are planning on having two ride starts this year - one from Gold River at 10:30 am led by Janet Kendall and one from Five Points at 11:00am led by Becky Neal. Both groups will join together at William Pond park by the bathrooms. We will then ride to the Turkey drop off at Cal Expo.
You can help make this Thanksgiving special for a child, family or senior who’d otherwise go without by donating a turkey during this year’s Turkey Drive for the Sacramento Food Bank! Bring a turkey or cash donation (suggested $15/turkey) to the ride starts. This is not required to participate in the rides. We will have a vehicle to transport the turkeys or you can carry them with you on your bike.
Plan to wear your Bike Hiker jersey/jacket and smile for the camera. Hopefully we can get some news coverage.
For those who are interested, we will be going to lunch at Rock and Brew restaurant at the corner of Expo Blvd and Ethan Way after the turkey drop off.
