Come join me at the monthly Sacramento Bike Hikers Club meeting this Wednesday, August 7th.  Social gathering starts at 6:30 PM with the meeting beginning at 7:00 PM.  As always the meeting is held at the Carmichael Park Clubhouse, 5750 Grant Avenue in Carmichael.

This evenings speaker will be the new executive director of Cal Bike, Kendra Ramsey.  The club makes an annual contribution to this organizations ongoing efforts.  Check out their website at calbike.org.

In addition to our regular business items, we will also have a re-cap of the successful Club Picnic, Ride and Jersey Swap.

On a less encouraging note, no-one has volunteered to help with the refreshments for the club meetings, so this meeting will be leftover chips and drinks from the Picnic.  If volunteering for the rest of the year is too much, there will be a sign-up sheet for each of the remaining meetings.  If you can just do one or two it would be a big help.  Your expenses are reimbursed by the club.
