CANCELED for 2021 !

The 2021 PARTY PARDEE Metric Century is
More information about this very difficult decision
follows below:

Dear Party Pardee Participant:

The Sacramento Bike Hikers have been exploring all the possible ways to have this year’s Party Pardee 2021 ride as planned on April 3rd. However, with all the ongoing concerns with Covid-19 and the slower than expected vaccination process, at this time there appears little likelihood Party Pardee will be allowed to happen. Therefore, the Sacramento Bike Hikers sadly must announce that Party Pardee 2021 is canceled for the second year in a row.

Last year most riders who registered for Party Pardee, which was subsequently canceled, chose to have their registration rolled forward to Party Pardee 2021. We are now asking you to do the same again for this year.

We have automatically rolled forward your registration again to Party Pardee 2022. By doing so, you are guaranteed a fully paid reservation for next year. We understand some of you may need to cancel.  We will accept cancelation requests thru May 31, 2021. You will also have the option of having any merchandise you purchased shipped directly to you if you so choose.

Every year, a significant portion of the net proceeds from Party Pardee is donated to several local bicycling related charities. Unfortunately, due to the cancelation of Party Pardee 2020, the board of directors decided to forego any donations in 2020.However, since the 2021 event is now canceled, Sacramento Bike Hikers feel we should not wait another year to make those donations. We now feel quite certain the 2022 event will happen as planned. As such, for each rider that rolls their registration forward to Party Pardee 2022, Sacramento Bike Hikers will donate a portion of those registration fees to those struggling charitable organizations this year.

Likewise, any rider who will not be able to participate in Party Pardee 2022 and chooses to cancel, will be offered an option to donate the entire registration fee to your choice of one of our charitable organizations. Your donation to Sacramento Bike Hikers qualifies as a tax deductible charitable contribution per IRS regulations to a 501(c)3 organization.100% of your donated registration fee will go directly to our charities.

To request a refund, merchandise shipment or to make a donation of registration fees, please use the link below to complete a refund request form on the Sacramento Bike Hikers website.  All refunds will be processed thru

Thank you for your patience in these trying times. We were looking forward to celebrating Party Pardee 2021 and being able to hold group events again. We are truly saddened by the cancelation, but it just wasn’t meant to be. We hope you will join us for Party Pardee 2022 on April 2, 2022.

Two Routes to enjoy

You won't be disappointed!

100K Route (65 miles)
Ride the quiet country around Ione, passing Lake Camanche and Pardee Reservoir, through quiet little towns like Buena Vista, Campo Seco, and Valley Springs. The route is a challenge for most riders, with plenty of "rollers" through the green wooded foothills in all their spring glory. Hits the sweet spot in your early training! About 3500' of climbing.
Route Profile  RWGPS
 50K Route (26 miles)
A scaled down version of the 100K with less climbing and fewer miles but just as much scenery. Still a challenge for riders looking for a shorter option. About 1200' of climbing.
