Events - Event View

We will be departing from the Town Center Plaza parking lot (near Starbucks) on Jefferson Blvd/Lake Washington Blvd. at 8 am and ride through Davis to Winters. We will stop for coffee and snacks at Steady Eddie&#39;s in Winters and then return to W. Sac. The ride should be around 50 miles RT, mostly flat.<br /><br />We do not have a RWGPS for the entire route, but plan to take Lake Washington to Industrial to Enterprise where we will cross the causeway to Davis. We will make our way to Russell Blvd where we ride to Winters via Russell Blvd and Putah Creek roads. Here is the route from Davis to Winters and back.<br /><br />For advanced riders. Ready for a different riding adventure? Come join us on a fast paced, no cue sheet ride. The ride will be 50 miles and flat. The ride will not be swept, however we do re-group as necessary. If one rider stops we all stop. Riders will be expected to be able to maintain a 15-17 mph pace over the course of the ride. This means on the flat the pace will be anywhere from 17 to 22 mph. While we welcome all riders, unless you are able to keep up with the pace and distance, this is probably not the right ride for you. It is, however a great opportunity to improve your riding or training for an event.
