Grade: D26/C45/C64 with B hills. This is the Party Pardee Pre-Ride for the volunteers who are working Party Pardee on April 6. Services are a bit scarce along the routes, so please be prepared and self-sufficient with fluids, food, and supplies since there are no official food stops. On the long route services are available at mile 14, mile 29, and again at mile 48 in Valley Springs. Rain or threat of rain cancels the ride. Meet at the Howard Park parking lot in Ione.

Easy ride from Gold River up Gold Country Blvd to the Fish Hatchery to pick up the bike trail. The 20 mile riders will take a break @ Wm Pond Park before returning to Gold River. 26 is cross at Sunrise and Gold Country and down to Sac. State walking bridge. The 31 mile route goes to the Guy West Bridge then returns to Gold River. There are options for lunch or coffee after the ride. The sign OUT clipboard will be at the wonderful family owned Beach Hut Restaurant next to Starbucks since I‘ll be doing the long ride.
We‘ll ride a mix of trails and streets to a breakfast stop at the 49er Diner (AKA Silver Skillet), 49er Travel Plaza (truck stop) near I-5 @ W. El Camino. Bring a lock. Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42739740

Early last year Husick‘s Taproom changed hands for at least the third time since it first began operation, and after being shuttered for months it reopened in early July unbeknownst to me. The former BBQ joint has switched to pizza, but there‘s still decent beer on draft. So, I‘m bringing back rides to Husick‘s, but with a revamped route that now starts at Barrio instead of Windbridge/Rush River.
This is an easy route of moderate length that travels familiar roads in the Greenhaven/Pocket and Clarksburg areas, and starts relatively late to accommodate Husick‘s opening time of 11. Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44796871
Note: Registration deadline is 12 hours prior to the ride start.

Let‘s get out to Park Dr in Rocklin and set a baseline for improvements over the year. I will sweep the 39 mile route.
The difference between the 39 and 41 mile routes is the climb up the last part of Park. There is also an option for about 33 miles that will be noted on the cue sheets for both other options with either RWGPS route for the return being able to be used from that point. 39 and 41 miles routes are below and on the club site under my name.

Northwest corner of parking lot next to Steady Eddy’s near Railroad Ave. and Abbey St. in downtown W
Formerly known as my English Hills ride, this ride goes from Winters to Vacaville through the English Hills. The rest stop is at the Pure Grain Bakery in downtown Vacaville. Due to a road closure on Cantelow Rd. the direction of the long route has been reversed so that you climb Cantelow Rd. from the back side (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45945311). The distance is still about 44 miles with 2,000 ft climbing. The short route has not changed and goes around the English Hills in a clockwise direction staying on the lower rollers in the English Hills. It’s 36 miles with 1060 ft climbing (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41429095). The two routes split on Putah Creek Rd after crossing the bridge out of Winters, so you need to decide early on which route you’re doing. A number of us go to Steady Eddy’s or Hooby’s Brewing in downtown Winters after the ride for lunch and a recovery drink ;-).
