Long may not be swept, TBD, so please plan on riding with a friend. Please bring water and snacks in case Flower Farm is crowded!

Beat the heat this week with a climb up Baxter Grade to Auburn from Rocklin. The total length of the ride is 51 miles with about 3000 ft of climbing. Meet at the Bel Air Shopping Center on the corner of Stanford Ranch Rd and Sunset Blvd for a 8:00 A.M. start. I'll update the post with the RWGPS route. I'm also working on a shorter route with less climbing that bypasses Baxter Grade and goes up Wise Rd to Ophir. The long route will be swept. The short route travels for a very short length on I-80 from Ophir Road to Maple St. Both routes have the same return down Shirland Tract. You may see a difference in elevation and mileage when comparing Garmin with RWGPS.
Short Route 46.5 miles with 2600 ft of climbing - Pour Choice -1A (via Wise Road) https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36389610

All routes start together. At 6.2 miles the Fun D16 route bypasses the Empire Ranch loop then cuts down at the Johnny Cash Trail. The D24s ride the ER loop, cross the dam, and U-turn at Beals Pt. One D24 uses an ARBT return and the other uses Folsom Blvd. Both D24s can be extended to D30 by looping to the fish hatchery. D16 > https://ridewithgps.com/routes/_____? In Celebration of Fathers Day let's wander through Folsom's Oak Parkway trail then go up the Johnny Cash trail and over to Green Valley Rd before a bit of Francisco Drive. Then up Malcolm Dixon Rd and Green Valley Rd on your way to ride the new Silver Springs Parkway to get to Wow Wow Lemonade. Then enjoy a gentle ride through Serrano to see the beautiful homes on your way to the new Saratoga Way followed by descending Iron Point on the way back to the Broadstone Marketplace This a C ride (because of the heat some may think it is a B ride) and the length is 31.1 miles with 2,362 feet of gentle climbing.
